Moving up a gear with Sheri Jacobson
Therapist Sheri Jacobson is Clinical Director of therapist network
Harley Therapy. Touched by the difference she saw in her own family after they did Hoffman, curiosity won out and she decided to take the course.
'In the cab ride home from the Hoffman Process, I felt elevated, radiating confidence and contentment. I recall wondering how long that feeling would last. It is two years on now, and I would say that a similar sentiment still applies... Not only have I begun to improve my personal relationships and work on being a better mother, partner and friend, but I also developed a desire to be a better member of society.'

One book, one thousand authors: Saskia Lichtenstern's
Five
Pearls
project
A year after completing breast cancer treatment and reconstructive surgery, Hoffman Graduate Saskia Lichtenstern was struggling with loss of identity and self-expression:
'I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t ask for more support and attention from loved ones after they had made their worlds revolve around me for so long already. How could I complain after I had survived cancer? I mean, how ungrateful is that? So I kept my mouth shut and suffered in silence...'
Saskia's new project aims to empower fellow survivors in a similar situation and give them a collective voice by sharing combined 'pearls of wisdom' in a multi-authored book:
'Each person that opens up their soul to me and shares five pearls of wisdom will be credited as an author of the book. All they need do is email me five things that helped them find joy after breast cancer. Let’s do something huge and magnificent to prove we can overcome by spreading love...'

'Destination Transformation' - Hoffman featured in
The Gloss Magazine
The Gloss Magazine is Ireland’s leading lifestyle publication, circulated with its sister broadsheet
The Irish Times. We're delighted to have been chosen by journalist Kate O'Brien to feature as one of their leading wellbeing retreats for 2018:
'As distinct from spas, transformational-styled retreats take a more reflective, longer-term approach to wellbeing. Not about coming home deeply bronzed and a few pounds lighter, these all-encompassing programmes are fine-tuned with teams of exceptional facilitators, outstanding food and above all, time to embrace change not just in body, but in life too.
So profound is the shift that people no longer view a week’s wellness retreat as part of their annual holiday allowance, but more an essential part of their physical and emotional maintenance, with benefits lasting far longer than the tan.
And often it’s the most unlikely candidates, the supercharged, results-driven high-fliers who benefit most, as they allow themselves the time to slow, to be still and to work through the hard stuff in cosy, nurturing surroundings...'
Our next Process in Ireland will take place in November.

Connect those synapses: give your Intellect some love
Do you let your heart rule your head?
If for any reason your Intellect hasn't been challenged for a while, take some time today to exercise your brain.
Read something intellectually stimulating. Try a crossword. Research something you feel you’d like to know more about. Write a handwritten letter to an old friend, taking care to use correct grammar and punctuation. Try to make it interesting, witty, colourful and descriptive. Can you feel your brain coming to life?
