Dear Nikki,
|

| | Time to take the road less travelled? |
Welcome to 2011 and a fresh start. We've recently had a lot of snow, covering everything in a soft white blanket. It's fascinating to notice where fresh footsteps go when the well-trodden path disappears. We often live unconsciously; doing what we've always done, reacting according to pre-set patterns rather than creating new paths in our life.
Change doesn't have to be dramatic or even noticeable to others; sometimes it's the inner shifts which create the greatest outward difference. A new insight, for example, can affect our choices and responses in a way that creates long-term transformation. A small daily adjustment of our course can take us to a completely new destination over time.
Take a moment this New Year's Eve to write a description of your life as you would like it to be this time next year. What first steps are needed to take you there? What resources are required? Use this time to explore your options, so that when the final winter snowfall melts, your path ahead is clear. It can be fascinating to read your vision the following New Year's Eve and see your progress!
One resource we're offering to help you find new bearings is a Constellation workshop, which is an intriguing way to discover the source of your patterns and find resolution. This day is open to all, whether you've done the Process or not and can give a clear understanding of how your family's history affects your present. Read more below.
If you're a Hoffman Graduate, the support call this month is about re-energising your Process vision, whether that was something you formulated a year ago or ten years ago, thie call is a great chance to re-visit it and re-inspire yourself. You can also plan for new growth on our next Q2 - 3 day intensive which is filling fast.
Wishing you new, exciting paths ahead
Dates for Processes and Information Evenings are on our calendar page. The first Process in January is now full, so the next Process with availability is January 28th - February 4th.

| Reclaiming Our Health is About Changing Our Lives - Joan Borysenko | Reclaiming Our Health is About Changing Our Lives - Joan Borysenko
Hoffman Graduate Joan Borysenko is a medical scientist, psychologist, author and educator. After doing the Process she joined the Professional Advisory Council for the Hoffman Institute USA because, in her words: "Just a few committed souls can change the world. It's a privilege to be connected with the Institute."
In a magazine interview this year Joan says that: "When you have issues left from childhood, you're often left with a sense of learned helplessness and that helplessness ripens into depression." After many years of clinical observations she realised that there was one very clear trait present in patients who weren't getting better - they were holding onto regrets and resentments, stemming from childhood experiences which affected how they viewed the world.
Some of the first steps she suggests for people begining a more empowered path around their wellbeing is to learn meditation, mindfulness or yoga which all help with changing our breathing. patterns. Often we'll notice a decrease in our stress levels straight away. She also recalls being at a conference with Mother Theresa and the Dalai Lama and their response to the idea that we create our own wellbeing and therefore our own illness. Healing Family Patterns - Constellation Workshop, Friday January 21st
|
'Constellations' is a simple yet profoundly healing system used to look at our relationships with partners, family, community or our work life, as well as issues such as illness or major life decisions. You can explore your issue when you're ready, either by setting up a constellation or by being a participant. No prior experience is required and the workshop is open to all, whether you've done the Process or not. The day is co-facilitated by BACP counsellor Gaye Donaldson; a Director of the Centre for Systemic Constellations and a constellations practitioner since 1994. She's joined by Matthew Pruen, senior Hoffman teacher, and systemic consultant who works both individually and with organisations. To book, contact Matthew on: 07976 843 715 Email: mail@matthewpruen.com Time: 9.30-5pm Date: Friday January 21st Venue: The Artworker's Guild, London WC1N Cost: £120 per person 'I've experienced many workshops with Matthew and Gaye. I love the way constellations takes you straight to the heart of the issue. Sometimes the root cause lies with a lack of closure generations back, even if you don't know your family history, and often the answer is unexpected. It's worth years of therapy!' Nikki Wyatt

| Support Call January 19th - Energise Your Vision For 2011 |
Do you remember your Process vision? How closely does your life resemble that now? Are you still on track to realise it?
| | Re-Energise Your Vision |
This month's support call on Wednesday January 19th 7.30-8.45pm is focused on that inspiring vision which you created on the Process. In a space free of limitations and fully connected with our true self it's easy to see the life we really want. However, back in our everyday life we can lose sight of how we're doing on the journey towards that dream.
On this call we'll be reminding you of your vision and seeing if it needs any tweaking to bring it up to date, to reflect where you are now. We hope you'll leave the call warmed by an inner fire, even in this winter weather! Led by Matthew Pruen this month, these calls are ideal when you finish your Post Process Support Groups and want to reconnect to the Process tools. We also welcome Hoffman Graduates who've been 'out of the loop' and want a fresh perspective. In short - if you've done the Process - wherever you live - this one's for you! Click for more information and to book on this call and future calls
2011 PriceThe VAT rise which means the cost of support calls will rise to £19.00 on January 4th. Bookings before 4th January are at the old price of £18.50.
