"Just like the butterfly, I too will awaken in my own time."
Deborah Chaskin

Do you want to be sure if the Process is for you?
Then here's a wonderful opportunity to join us for an effortless information evening. Just pick up your phone and listen in or, if you have a question, we'll be happy to answer.

Call 0870 22 333 33 from the UK or +44 870 22 333 33 from elsewhere in the world on Tuesday 5th August and join UK founder Tim Laurence at 7.30 pm BST until 8.30 pm. You will be asked for your PIN. This is: 103655.

Tim will be covering such questions as:

  • Is there a good time to do the Process?
  • Which issues are particularly helped by it?
  • Does it matter if your partner hasn't done it?
  • How can you tell if the Process is right for you?
  • What changes can you expect following the course?
  • How can it help relationships and parenthood?
  • What are the long-term benefits?

  • We'll be sending a reminder with more call information nearer the time. If you've done the Process we'd welcome you sharing your experience with those calling in. If you know someone who would benefit from hearing more, please forward this using the blue forward link below. 'See' you there!

Pictured here in Kent are 56 Hoffman Centre leaders and teachers who joined us from 11 countries this June for the largest ever Hoffman International Conference.

The conference provided a chance for all the Hoffman Centres to exchange ideas and renew visions in formal meetings as well as to strengthen our personal and creative connections through singing, dancing and drumming.

    Tim gets a 'Bobby'
Tim was presented with a Lifetime Achievement award (only given once before) fondly called a 'Bobby' for taking Bob Hoffman's work into different countries and cultures. Tim followed usual practice by first thanking his parents - in this case for influencing him to do the Process - and ended by commenting: "Does this mean I can spend less time in airports now?!"

    Guest Speakers
Guest speakers to inspire and inform us included:
  • therapist Shawn Katz talking on trauma and post traumatic stress disorder
  • psychologist and author Oliver James who gave an amusing as well as thought-provoking talk on the culture of Affluenza
  • therapist Sabine Young who shared her expertise on co-dependency, addiction and Imago Relationship Therapy.
  • Serena's New Role
Hoffman also elected a new International Director this year - Serena Laurence. So, for the first time in many years, we will have a woman's touch on the Board. Serena said: "I'm looking forward to playing my part in helping Hoffman International maintain the standard and quality of the Process throughout the world"

Hoffman Graduate Samantha Warwick has kindly shared her experience of how the Process helped her following the death of her husband.

Retreat and isolation, I learnt amongst a million and one other things, was a prime pattern of mine and cutting myself off from everyone wasn't helping to lift the sadness. Seems obvious, right, but I hadn't seen it.

At the end of my week I felt mellow and while not fixed, shaky but more sorted. I jumped in the car and drove 300 miles to Devon just to give my sister a hug. I never hug anyone, not even my sister who I love with all my heart. Then I hugged my mum, sorry that I'd shut her out too. The Hoffman made me realise what I still had and what I could have was as good as what I had lost. Rob would always be part of me, but I still had me left to look after. And that was priceless.

We wish Samantha well with all her future plans
