A new me? Hoffman features in this month's Cosmo

Sophie Goddard is a freelance journalist, writing for magazines like Marie Claire, Grazia and Cosmopolitan. In this month's Cosmo, Sophie writes about her Hoffman Process experience and, amongst many things, what she gained from it (clue: it has four legs and barks a lot)
'I'd been going through what you'd call a rough patch. I was 34 and single, and one by one, friends seemed to be slowly peeling away from me, forming families of their own. I had no idea what my own future held, and that thought - along with the growing sense of loneliness that came with it - became a constant companion...'

In a recent podcast with Tim, you can hear Blake speak about his own Hoffman Process, and his reasons for sharing his experience (starting from around 15 mins);
'I went to Hoffman in 2000. And after Hoffman, I remember coming back to the TOMS office and our CEO at the time, he’s like, “Man, you look lighter. Physically lighter.” And I was like, “I feel lighter.”
On The Hoffman Process, they take you through a series of exercises. It’s very experiential and it’s very unconventional, but it is more effective than anything I’ve ever seen. And through the week, what you do is you really recognise what patterns you have from both of your parents that you want to let go of, that aren’t serving you anymore. You also see the vicious cycles that play out in your life. If you look through 20, 30 years, you can see, 'Oh, I do this and it leads to this, and ultimately leads to this. And that has really not served me'.
It helps you become a better parent. It helps you become a better spouse, it helps you become a better leader for sure. I have goosebumps over my whole body, just getting the opportunity to share how meaningful Hoffman was because I’m so grateful to it.”

We've now completed three socially-distanced Processes at Florence House (pictured) and it's so good to be back in action! We're currently running the Hoffman Process with a reduced number of participants to allow everyone single accommodation, logistical changes to allow for social distancing, a ramped-up cleaning schedule and zero physical contact. We're 100% confident that this can all happen without compromising the work of the Process.
Our next few dates are on a Wait List*, but we do have availability from late October onwards. You can register online by clicking the orange link and paying a £500 deposit. Our enrolment team will contact you, and if it turns out that the Process isn't right for you at this time - or is postponed due to circumstances beyond our control - we'll refund your deposit in full.

*When a Process is on a wait list, a place may still become available. Ring the office on +44(0)1903 88 99 90

The Hoffman Essentials is a two-day online workshop that provides you with tools for life. Featuring taught sessions, solo exercises, visualisations and activities away from the screen, the weekend will introduce you to Hoffman techniques and practices that you can take away and use immediately, without having to commit to a full seven-day retreat.
Workshops are led by two members of the Hoffman team, and numbers are limited to provide a small and safe environment.
As well as a pre-course call and post-course follow up, all participants on The Hoffman Essentials will receive a £100 discount voucher towards a Hoffman Process booking.
Upcoming dates:
We are currently running an Early Bird discount offer on all Essentials workshops in September and October. For more information, click here

'This is a chance to explore and learn some fantastic life tools that really work. 48 hours later, I have used several of them in my daily life and worked through some tasks I have been avoiding for weeks and months.'

Making Relationships Work is a two-day, non-residential workshop, designed for anyone wanting to develop their ability to enjoy life in their current intimate relationship. It is open to couples already in a committed relationship. You do not have to have done the Hoffman Process to attend.
Your course leaders are Matthew and Emma Pruen. Matthew has built on a decade of working with couples in one-to-one and group settings. He’s also worked as a Hoffman facilitator since 2008. Emma Macpherson is a self-esteem mentor and shamanic practitioner, who did the Hoffman Process in 2001.
The intention of the course is to get couples connected again; through clear communication, witnessing each other and rebuilding respect, trust and intimacy.
Times: 9.00am for a 9.30 start, until 5.00pm
Venue: TBC, central London
Cost: £600 per couple (Reserve your place with a £200 deposit; £400 balance due by Friday 9 October)

The Hoffman enrolment team is available on the phone or via email, and happy to answer any questions you might have about the Process.
A one-to-one assessment call gives you time to discuss what happens on the course in detail, and also to decide whether it's right for you at this time. If you do then go on to register, you're already a step ahead!
The calls are completely confidential, and you don't need to have registered for a course to book a slot.
