Take some time each day to create space for yourself – even five minutes is helpful. Having a simple meditation practice first thing in the morning, will help ground you for the day.
Settle into a comfortable position with your back straight, and simply become aware of your breathing. You may wish to focus on the gentle sensations of the breath coming in and out of your nose. You’ll probably find your Intellect wandering – no need for judgement – just bring it gently back to the breath each time. The more you meditate, the more you access your true being, beneath all the chatter of the mind.
