'My dad left our mum before I was born, so I grew up with my twin sister, older brother and mother. As a child every year, my mother would ask us if we wanted to send our father a birthday card and every year I refused. There was a door in my heart marked 'dad,' but I was determined not to open it and allow in the feelings of abandonment, anger and pain.
As an adult I distracted myself with holidays, partying, escaping into podcasts, TV, films and a string of short term relationships. But behind the shiny exterior, I was lost and isolated. As the years passed, my twin married and had her first child which also birthed a desire to get in touch with our father, who was married with a new family. I agreed to join her, so we went to meet him together....'
We'd like to thank Alan and his family for being willing to share this very moving Process Story with us.

'I completed the brilliant Hoffman Process at the beginning of 2017. That week was a turning point; since then I've switched careers, started a non-profit, and learnt how to be a better friend to myself.
I strongly believe that Hoffman was both the igniter and catalyst for all of this incredible change. I arrived as a timid quiet girl who didn't know how to stay true to her values, and I left starting to march to the beat of my own drum.
A few weeks ago, I decided to step out of my comfort zone, stand on that iconic red dot and deliver my first ever TEDx Talk on Fierce Compassion. I wanted to share it with you all as there is no way in chance I would have been there without you guys..'

If you’ve ever thought; 'I just don’t understand why people don’t behave reasonably, like me’ or ‘I feel like such a misfit’, our three-part Tuesday evening Living with the Enneagram webinars are new for you.
Led by Hoffman UK founder Tim Laurence, each webinar will group three of the nine Enneagram Types by a common thread - their reactivity, their positivity, or their competence - and explore the impact of their differing points of view and communication styles.
No prior knowledge of the Enneagram is needed, and you're welcome to book just one individual webinar or all three. Whatever your Type, knowing yourself and understanding others will give far clearer communication, as well as an increased intimacy with those closest to you.
Dates:
Times: 7.30pm - 9.00pm (UK time)
Cost: £15 per webinar

If you're interested in signing up to a Hoffman Process later in the year, our friendly enrolment team is available on the phone or via email, and happy to answer any questions you might have.
A one-to-one assessment call gives you time to discuss what happens on the course in detail, and also to decide whether it's right for you. If you do then go on to register, you're already a step ahead! The calls are completely confidential, and you don't need to have registered for a course to book an appointment.

We are now accepting bookings for the residential, socially-distanced, 7-Day Hoffman Process at Florence House, Sussex from May onward.
We have reduced the number of places on each course to 18 participants, allowing for appropriate social distancing and single accommodation for all attendees. There have been some practical modifications made to the course logistics to ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to; other than that, the Hoffman Process content remains the same. Our courses are filling up fast, so early registration is advised.
