Navigating unpredictable outcomes, dealing with factors outside our control and managing unexpected variables are headline topics for most of us at the moment. For glass artist Candice Wu, they're all in a day's work. In Candice's
Process Story on our website, she shares her unique first-hand insight into how Hoffman tools can help with keeping a cool head when the heat is on.

'Like so many things in life, glassblowing can be unpredictable. There are many variables that can’t be controlled, and due to the nature of the medium, there’s a high rate of things that can go wrong. Despite knowing this logically, I used to be really hard on myself. I’d get so caught up in having to make things ‘perfect’ that I would even start to procrastinate, because I was so afraid of failure... Doing the Process freed up my attitude and helped me challenge my patterns of perfectionism. I now try to approach everything as a learning experience...'

You may recognise Tim Laurence as the founder of Hoffman UK, or the author of You Can Change Your Life. What you might not know that he's also a qualified authority on the Enneagram, having studied the system for over 30 years and completed professional training in the USA.

Tim says: 'The Enneagram is a powerful system for understanding our own personalities; how we came to be the way we are, what make up our main obstacles to growth, and what the pathways are to our own development. Like Hoffman, the Enneagram offers a bridge between psychology and spirituality. It acknowledges the biases of personality that might have been deepened in childhood, and it encourages self-awareness and compassion for others.'

For this 90-minute webinar, no prior knowledge is required (although if you do know your Type, there's a treat for you here). All welcome, whether you've done the Process or not.

Time: 7.30-9.00pm (UK)
Cost: £15 per person

The Socially-Distanced Hoffman Process is still going strong. We're currently running courses with a reduced number of participants to allow everyone single accommodation, logistical changes to allow for social distancing, a ramped-up cleaning schedule and zero physical contact. We're 100% confident that this can all happen without compromising the work of the Process.

We've only a handful of places left this year - although we are operating a very lively and flexible Wait List* - so don't be deterred if your preferred dates are currently showing as full. 2021 dates through to the end of March 2021 are now live on our website, here.

You can register online by clicking the orange link and paying a £500 deposit. Our enrolment team will contact you, and if it turns out that the Process isn't right for you at this time - or is postponed due to circumstances beyond our control - we'll refund your deposit in full.

October 3-9: Wait List*
October 17-23: Available
November 14-20: Wait List*
December 12-18: Available
*When a Process is on a wait list, a place may still become available. Ring the office on +44(0)1903 88 99 90

The Hoffman Essentials is a two-day online workshop that provides you with tools for life. Featuring taught sessions, solo exercises, visualisations and activities away from the screen, the weekend will introduce you to Hoffman techniques and practices that you can take away and use immediately, without having to commit to a full seven-day retreat.

Workshops are led by two members of the Hoffman team, and numbers are limited to provide a small and safe environment.
As well as a pre-course call and post-course follow up, all participants on The Hoffman Essentials will receive a £100 discount voucher towards a Hoffman Process booking.

'This is a chance to explore and learn some fantastic life tools that really work. 48 hours later, I have used several of them in my daily life and worked through some tasks I have been avoiding for weeks and months.'

All are welcome to join our fortnightly Introduction to Hoffman Zoom sessions, led by Hoffman Managing Director Serena Gordon (pictured).

These evenings offer the chance to find out more about the Hoffman Process, the history of Hoffman, and an overview of the tools and techniques. The Zoom session is informal in tone, and if you've got any questions about what happens on the Process or The Hoffman Essentials, you can either ask them in person or via the chat box function.

Time: 7:30pm-8:30pm (UK time). Log in from 7.15pm
Platform: Zoom

To register, simply email enrolment@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk and we'll send you full instructions and the meeting ID.

You're also welcome to call the Hoffman office during office hours on +44(0)1903 88 99 90 and a member of the team will be happy to speak with you.
The Hoffman enrolment team is available on the phone or via email, and happy to answer any questions you might have about the Process.

A one-to-one assessment call gives you time to discuss what happens on the course in detail, and also to decide whether it's right for you at this time. If you do then go on to register, you're already a step ahead!

The calls are completely confidential, and you don't need to have registered for a course to book a slot.

Call us on 01903 88 99 90 or email enrolment@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk and we'll take it from there.
