Thank you for registering for the Hoffman Q2.

We invite you to use this page as a checklist to help you prepare for the weekend, so please read it through to the end.

Pre-course work

You will need to print a copy of your pre-course work to bring with you.

If you haven’t already completed your pre-course work, you’ll find it here. As well as practical information like dietary requirements, it’s useful for the facilitators to have an idea of the issues you’d like to focus on and any changes since your Process, so do please send this over as soon as possible.

Practicalities

You can use the dropdowns below to find useful information about your stay.

As well as your printed pre-course work, please bring:

  • Your Process workbook: If you still have it, this is a useful reminder of the work you did on the Process. Don’t worry if you can’t find it.
  • A personal object: Please bring an object to share. This object could represent qualities of your Spiritual Self or something that resonates with you that you’d be happy to share as part of your introduction to the group.
  • A torch (in winter months only): There is lighting, but please bring a torch if you like to walk outside after dark.
  • A hair dryer (if required)
  • A watch and alarm clock if you’re planning to hand in your mobile phone (see below)
  • Earphones (wired): You will be given an MP3 player for your use during the weekend, so please bring a set of standard (non-bluetooth) ear or headphones. If you don’t have any, we do carry a limited number of spares.
    Recommended clothing:
  • Comfortable, casual loose clothes and something appropriate for exercise, e.g. sweatshirts, T-shirts, jogging outfits, shorts etc – There will be a bit of bashing.
  • An outdoor jacket and walking shoes/boots
  • A dressing gown/bath robe and a pair of slippers if you want.
  • Soft shoes to wear indoors and layers in case you get warm or cold.

Please be aware that there are no shopping facilities or laundry available throughout the weekend, so you should ensure you have adequate supplies of everything you may need. This includes any medication, extra snacks or dietary supplements and cigarettes if you smoke.

Unlike the Process, we don’t insist that you hand over phones, books and electronics at the Q2 – although we’ll always encourage you to take the opportunity for a digital detox if you can, and you’re very welcome to hand them over at registration for safekeeping.

If you do need to make or receive an urgent phone call or check your email, please be considerate of other participants’ experience and do this in your room / away from the shared group areas.
