'When I signed up for the Hoffman Process back in 2008, I had no idea that it would release a stream of creative expression in writing that would eventually become my first book.

Signing up for something like the Process was completely out of character for me. Expressing my emotions, working in a group setting, spending a large sum of money on myself, doing touchy-feely-workshoppy things: these all went completely against the grain. But at the time I was so stuck in behaviour patterns that weren’t serving me, that I knew I had to do something drastic to challenge my habits and take me well outside my comfort zone.

What I didn’t anticipate was that out of the intense emotional and physical work of the Process, the words to express my experience would start to well up, clear, strong and healing. Because once I’d begun the preparatory work you’re asked to do, I discovered that journaling is also an important part of the Process...

Business consultant Phil Rose and filmmaker Adam Woods first met in 2016 when they shared a room together on the Hoffman Process.

Five years later, they can be heard discussing their Hoffman experience, as well as Adam's journey from camera to coach. as part of the Sparks podcast series for Phil's firm Ignium Consulting.

'Hoffman was about recognising that I personally could do things differently, that I was living life according to my values, and then becoming aware of what I needed to do to keep myself there.' ~ Phil

'I went to Hoffman because my notions of success hadn’t got me where I wanted to go - the symptoms were exhaustion, overwhelm and the ending of a long-term relationship. The Hoffman experience helped me see that coaching was at the heart of what I was already doing as a film director.' ~ Adam

All are welcome to join our Introduction to Hoffman Zoom sessions, led by Hoffman Managing Director Serena Gordon (pictured) and members of the UK enrolment team.

These informal intros offer the chance to find out more about the Hoffman principles, the seven-day Hoffman Process, and the other online courses that we offer. If you've got any questions about what happens on the Process, The Hoffman Essentials, or our other workshops, you can ask them in person or use Zoom's chat box to remain anonymous.

The calls are weekly, on either a Wednesday afternoon at 4.00pm, or Tuesday evening at 7.30pm (UK).

To register, simply email info@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk and we'll send you full instructions and the Zoom meeting ID.
If you're interested in signing up to a Hoffman Process later in the year, our friendly enrolment team is available on the phone or via email, and happy to answer any questions you might have.

A one-to-one assessment call gives you time to discuss what happens on the course in detail, and also to decide whether it's right for you. If you do then go on to register, you're already a step ahead! The calls are completely confidential, and you don't need to have registered for a course to book an appointment.

Call us on 01903 88 99 90 or email enrolment@hoffmaninstitute.co.uk and we'll take it from there.
The Hoffman Process at Florence House is open for bookings. We have reduced the number of places on each course to 18 participants, allowing for appropriate social distancing and single accommodation for all attendees. There have been some practical modifications made to the course logistics to ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to; other than that, the Hoffman Process content remains the same. Our courses are filling up fast, so early registration is advised.
